I have completed the registration filling out the form correctly, but an error message is displayed “username already existing”.

Please, you need to change username as the one specified is already in use by another user.

Can you please verify if you already registered to Digipea using the same email? You can easily verify this by following the instructions for forgotten passwords process described on this FAQ page.

I completed the registration process but did not receive an activation email.

If you are sure you used your correct email without spelling mistakes, then you can request to receive the activation email again through the forgotten password process described on this FAQ page.

How can I access the forgotten password process? I do not remember the details of my Digipea account.

It is compulsory to press the login button with empty values and then press the button “forgot your password?”. You will be requested to provide your email address. Then you will receive an email to the provided email. Follow the instruction of the email to reset you password.

I received an invitation to join Digipea from someone I do not know.

You can ignore the message. It is likely that the sender misspelled the email of a friend of theirs. If you think that a Digipea user is using the system inappropriately, please send an email to support@digipea.com.

I am a Digipea user and I received a friendship invitation from someone I do not know.

It is up to you if you want to accept the friendship. Remember, if you accept a friendship you will start sharing your places with the person who sent the invitation. You will be able to remove a friendship easily later on. If you think that a Digipea user is using the system inappropriately, please send an email to support@digipea.com.

I just joined Digipea and my places section is empty.

It is normal that you do not have any places after registration, as this also happens when your contacts section is empty when you buy a brand new phone. It´s your turn now to start to play with the app and make it useful for you!

I am a Digipea user but I am not able to invite friends. An error message is displayed: “you must insert at least 1 place in order to invite friends”

You can only invite friends only after you have added or LIKE-IN 1 place. In Digipea we believe that it is pointless to invite friends if you have nothing to share yet.

I have added a new place on Digipea, but the map shows a wrong position.

Web: click “edit” and try to enter again the correct address.
Smartphone: tap “edit” and then “next” until the map is displayed on the screen. You can now tap “change location” and select “address” to insert the correct address, or if you are in the place with your smartphone, “current location” to get your current position.
If the problem is not resolved yet, you can send an email to support@digipea.com.

When I try to add a place from mobile, an warning message is displayed: ”location services are disabled. please check your location services settings”

It is mandatory to enable localization services from your smatphone if you want to automatically retrieve the location of a place that you are adding on the spot. You can ignore the message if you want to add a place by providing the address manually.
